The ESSDACK Career Expo is the largest high school college and career planning event in Kansas.

  • Did you know that over 5000 Kansas students attended our last Expo?

  • This is the perfect place to connect your students with two-year college degrees associated with specific careers, four-year college degrees, industry certifications, apprenticeships, military & public service opportunities, and business partners.

How can you get involved?

  • Register your students to schedule the best day and time to attend the Expo.

  • Work with us to help prepare your students and provide materials to share with them.

  • Parents are invited! Please send event information home with your students.

  • Best of all… it’s a Free event thanks to our event exhibitors!

This is not your grandpa’s Career Expo

  • This is a hands-on and interactive event designed specifically for your high school students.  Our goal is to provide them with information about the various career clusters, pathways, and post-secondary options. This is an opportunity for you and your students to learn from and gather information from a large variety of college and career groups, all in one place.

What can you expect at this event?

  • Organizations and institutions will be providing materials, resources demonstrations, and activities designed to engage your students and provide information. Students should come prepared to ask questions and interact with Expo exhibitors.

  • We’ll provide a variety of teacher and student resources to help. A student prep guide and worksheet will provide direction for your students that can supplement your own materials for the event. A map and directory will be provided to students on the day of the Expo. The directory will also be posted to the Career Expo website along with a web-based interactive version of the map.

What demonstrations and activities are planned?

  • Colleges and businesses are asked to include demonstrations to encourage more student interaction. Featured demonstrations will also be listed on the website and in the event app.

  • We will continue to attract businesses and organizations that bring large equipment and hands-on demonstrations, many of which will utilize outdoor space. Encourage students to visit the outdoor exhibitors.
