Use the resources below to help create an amazing Expo experience for your students!
Location and time:
The ESSDACK Career Expo will be hosted at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in the Meadowlark and Sunflower buildings.
Your students are welcome to attend any time from 8:30am - 2:30pm on October 29th & 30th, 2024.
Bus and School Vehicle Parking:
Please share with your Transportation Team!
Lunch:
Several food vendors will be available on-site and there are numerous establishments in the area.
Please make group lunch plans in advance.
Who’s coming?
We anticipate over 200 booth spaces, representing colleges and trade schools, military and public service, and businesses from across the state.

Exhibitor Expectations:
Exhibitors will be expected to interact with your students. Explore the career and higher-ed opportunities to prepare your students for the Expo.

Invite Parents to attend with their student
Participating students, parents, and staff should create a profile in the Expo App. It is used to collect demographics, and allows students to save favorites and request information from exhibitors!
Navigate the event with the Career Expo App
The Career Expo App will be used by your students to navigate the event. It will provide a list of all booth spaces with the option to filter by career field and cluster. The Expo App will list booth description, activities, and apprenticeship opportunities if applicable. The app is also allows students and parents to exchange contact information with exhibitors!
To begin using the app, go to expoapp.essdack.org or scan the QR code to the right.
It is a web-based app, there is no need to install it.
Students can use the app to create a favorites list as they plan their visit to the Career Expo.
