Poverty Paradigm Simulation

What does it take to get kids out of poverty?

It takes all of us! Join Rebecca and the Resilience Team to help ensure that poverty for your students is not the destination.

What to Expect at the Poverty Sim:

Up to 250 people can experience what it is like to live in poverty for one month. Each participant will role-play a person experiencing survival mode for one month simulated in 15 minute weeks. The result is a better understanding of why families on the lower economic scale do the things they do. The simulation is specifically built to be taken into communities and schools to initiate the paradigm shifts necessary to activate great generational change.

Rebecca Lewis-Pankratz is in the unique position to understand the needs of kids and parents who are experiencing poverty, having recently transitioned from the culture of trailer parks herself. She engages directly with school districts and community leaders to assist in finding solutions around student poverty and trauma.

Let’s bring this experience to your school & community!
