The ESSDACK Career Expo is the largest high school career planning event in Kansas.
Did you know that Kansas students are earning industry certifications and employability skills before they graduate high school? The Expo is the perfect place to showcase your organization and connect with your future workforce or student population.
The Expo is designed to inform students about career options, post-secondary opportunities, training possibilities, and the skills required for a variety of industries.
Students can’t be what they can’t see!
How can you get involved?
Businesses, post-secondary institutions, and public service organizations host booths to showcase career and educational opportunities.
Create an interactive experience related to your industry or career path to engage students.
Your sponsorship allows students and parents to attend for free.
Pricing:
$50 one-time fee per organization (includes Strivescan access)
$200 per booth space, first 5 spaces
$50 per booth space, after first 5 spaces
Table/chair are included with all booths
Electricity and WiFi internet access included
This is not your grandpa’s Career Fair
This is a hands on, interactive event designed specifically for high school students. As the expert, we need your involvement to assist students in becoming more aware of career opportunities that align with workforce needs and post-secondary educational choices. As a result, you will see an improved employee pipeline for your business and increased enrollment in your programs.

It’s important for students to gather first-hand experience from you, the experts, the ones doing the work. You know what is necessary in order to be successful in your field or institution. That’s why it’s so important for you to be a part of the Expo.
What should you expect at this event?
Over 5,000 students attended the 2023 Expo, from 70+ school districts.
The event highlighted nearly 200 post-secondary opportunities from certification programs, two & four year college degrees, apprenticeships, military opportunities, and business partners. And we want you to be a part of it!
Parents are Invited! Parent involvement will increase engagement for both students and exhibitors.
The Expo is focused on the student Career Planning process to help each student build their Kansas State Department of Education Individual Plan of Study.
Two full days of interactions with students. Students will arrive in staggered groups throughout the 2 days.
Hosted at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.
What demonstrations and activities can you provide during the Expo?
Students don’t need just brochures and swag. They also need hands-on & interactive activities! Students need to see it to be it!
