Taking the fear out of mathematics is a goal Renee’ has for teachers and students alike. Her passion for engaging, meaningful, hands-on math activities is apparent in each workshop. In an effort to reach a broader audience, Renee’ and her partner, Michelle Flaming, have launched a conceptually based math podcast, called Math Snacks. The free podcasts can be downloaded from the I-tunes store and are available on a wide range of topics and grade levels. Renee’ is also the host of “Just Desserts”, a podcast designed for parents. Renee’ and her guests share ideas, activities, and games that parents can enjoy with their kids over the dinner table.
Renee’ obtained her bachelors degree from Southwestern College and her Masters in Education from Baker University. She has dedicated 16 years to the classroom and has presented at the local, state, and national levels.
Renee’ will provide professional staff development in Elementary and Middle School Mathematics. She also assists districts in the areas of differentiated instruction, assessment, math-CTE program, PD 360 and MTSS.
