As our students become increasingly involved with, and entertained by, technology in all facets of their lives, it is becoming more difficult to keep them engaged in the classroom and see the relevancy of coursework. We will work together to explore the ways we can link coursework to real life skills and careers while meeting state standards and competency.
We will convene at the Old Town Conference Center in Wichita for breakout sessions,
which will include, but are not limited to, Internet communication tools, Kansas Career Pipeline, natural learning, Drupal, bullying, Google, and content specific topics which include sessions on language arts, mathematics, and science.
